ParenSquare

PVSchools uses ParentSquare as a primary platform for school communication, along with other district-approved communications options, including email, Google Chat, and Infinite Campus. With ParentSquare, families receive messages through email, app, voice, or text, helping everyone stay informed and involved.

An account is automatically created for each parent or guardian using the contact information in Infinite Campus. Parents and guardians are encouraged to activate their account and download the free mobile app to choose how and when they’d like to receive messages. Activation is not required to receive important messages from the district and your child's school.

Horizon, North Canyon, Paradise Valley, Pinnacle, and Shadow Mountain High School students and families will receive an invitation to activate ParentSquare in October 2025. Elementary and middle schools will have access in early 2026.

Here’s just some of what you can do with ParentSquare:

Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification.
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once.
Communicate in your preferred language.
Receive emergency alerts and attendance notices, that cannot be disabled.
Receive General Announcements & Messages, which include any posts, direct messages and reminders.

ParentSquare tips for parents & guardians

Getting started:

Open the invitation email from ParentSquare.
Follow the instructions in the activation email and enter your email or phone number.
Click "get started" and then check your contact information. If it looks correct, click "confirm". If there is a mistake with your contact information, please reach out to your student's school or make the update to your contact information in Infinite Campus.
You’ll then receive a code by text or email to verify your account.
You’ll see your children’s name(s). Click "confirm" next to each child who should be connected to your account. If a child is listed by mistake, click "not my child" and contact your school's front office to report an error in your parent account. Information for ParentSquare is securely synced with Infinite Campus.
If everything looks correct, click "yes, this is me."

Now you’re ready to start using ParentSquare!

What can I do with ParentSquare?

Here is what you can do with ParentSquare:

Receive updates from your school via email, app, or text notification.
Choose to get posts as they’re shared or bundled in a daily digest at the end of the day.
View posts, photos, calendars, and important announcements from your child's class, your child's school, or the district.
Communicate in your preferred language with automatic real-time translation.
Comment on some school posts and stay engaged with your school community.
Send direct messages to your child's teachers and staff.
Sign up for some class and school events.
Fill out forms, sign permission slips, and more—all in one place.

How do I activate my account without the activation email?

How can my high school student use StudentSquare to communicate with school staff?

High school students will have access to StudentSquare, the ParentSquare experience made available to high school students. This allows for communication between students and staff in clubs, athletics teams, school and class groups, and more.

To begin, add your student's mobile phone number to their contact information in Infinite Campus. This will allow your child to receive notifications and important information, including emergency notifications, in their email and on their phone when and where appropriate.

How do I stop receiving notifications?

In PVSchools, we use ParentSquare for school-related communication including emergency messaging. If you wish to stop receiving notifications, you can adjust your notifications settings by logging onto ParentSquare.com or visiting the notifications settings in the ParentSquare app.

ParentSquare is used in PVSchools for district and school-related communication only. If you wish to stop receiving notifications, you can opt out at any time by contacting the PVSchools Marketing and Communication Department.
